At the heart and centre – engine services

A 911 engine is the manifestation of sporting passion, dynamic performance and true love. The characteristic sound of a boxer engine, the usual humming of the 911 exemplifies outstandingly designed mechanics and makes any Porsche fan’s heart race. Even though the future of silent electric cars has already become reality: the Porsche is still loved for its nostalgic sound.

Those who share our passion for Porsche 911s will appreciate our meticulous approach to looking after engines. For many years, engine rebuilding and overhauling has been one of our primary focus areas.

Engine expertise

Engines vary according to the year of construction and the model and sometimes these differences can be huge – this requires specialist knowledge and experience in handling air-cooled and water-cooled Porsche engines.

Our motto: maintenance through optimal care, conservative replacements and restrained rebuilds! That means that all original parts that can be maintained will remain in the engine. If this is not possible because the parts are excessively damaged or missing, our first choice is to replace them with original parts. New parts are our last resort: but again, we manufacture these to the exact specifications and using the materials and machines originally used by Porsche.

  • Revision of Porsche engines and transmissions, of both series engines and racing engines.
  • Measuring, cleaning the engine housing, planning and resetting the crankshaft bore, removing and replacing studs, rinsing oil ducts; cleaning, measuring and bead compressing the cylinder heads. Replacement of all seats and leads.
  • Reworking and planning camshaft housing and chain cases. Disassembly and planning of bolts. Planning valve covers and, if required, replacing them with a reinforced version.
